About the Role
As a Markets Desktop Support Team lead in our Markets Technology team you will be working closely with institutional customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. You will be responsible to provide technical consultation to internal financial markets area, handling desktop production issues, strengthening business partnerships, and collaborating closely with a global team of business and technical stakeholders to deliver a high-quality service experience.

What will your day look like?
As a Markets Desktop Support Team lead you will be responsible to
Capture and document problem definitions and objectives.
Develop solution options with the business unit, adhering to ANZ ITIL incident and problem management processes.
Coordinate with ANZ support groups to resolve high-level urgent support issues.
Assist with system administration tasks, including backups, virus protection, and disaster recovery planning.
Maintain good working relationships and appreciate team members' skills and opinions.
Lead and motivate the team, fostering a strong customer-focused culture.
Manage the annual performance management process and drive staff engagement initiatives.
Act in accordance with ANZ values, challenge inconsistent practices, and support project and out-of-office activities.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Prior experience in financial markets desktop support roles.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of dealing room systems and applications such as Refinitiv Eikon, Bloomberg, EBS, and Murex.
Knowledge of PC hardware, smartphones, IPC Voice solution and other devices.
Ability to set clear, achievable goals, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong people skills and interpersonal abilities to interact successfully with all levels of technology and business staff.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and the Microsoft application suite.
Ability to challenge existing processes and procedures, with essential soft skills for team and business interactions.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships and effective communication within the team and with business stakeholders.
Prior dealing room/trade floor experience would be highly regarded.
