Job Summary

Wabash Mfg. Inc. is a custom manufacturer located in Westlock, AB. We are looking for a full-time Material Handler to begin immediately.

This position’s duties will focus on:

• Efficient & accurate computer data entry to record inventory identification, location; receiving, inspection, storage, delivery and returns;
• Physical material handling and movement of sheet metal and fabricated components;
• Operate equipment such as forklift, zoom boom and overhead cranes;
• Operate and maintain Waterjet, Plasma, shear, and press brake machines ;
• Assist other tradespeople in shop environment as requested.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required abilities:

• Experience performing all above duties;
• Excellent communication between departments using phone, radio and email;
• Proven track record to meet deadlines with detailed documentation back-up;
• Be able to organize & seek out information needed to maintain inventory;
• Be able to retain information & adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:

• Material Handling: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• Advanced English (required)
