Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our metal manufacturing team. ** MUST HAVE EXPEREINCE MOVING MATERIAL AND PARTSS IN A METAL MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, managing inventory, and maintaining smooth shipping and receiving operations. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, supporting the overall logistics and supply chain functions of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, and other heavy machinery
• Move materials and components to and from different work centres
• Receive and store raw material
• Ensure proper handling of goods during shipping and receiving processes
• Maintain safety standards while operating heavy equipment and handling materials
• Assist in organizing warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of items
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets
• Support construction or warehouse setup projects as needed

Requirements

• Must have experience moving materials in a METAL MANUFACTURING Environment
• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
• Knowledge of different sheet metal materials and thickness (GA)
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklift, and load & unload procedures
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
