In-house manufacturing capabilities include transfer press stamping/forming, grob forming, flow-forming, aluminum die casting, electron beam welding, machining and assembly.

Role

Assist with coordinating activities and verifying records for incoming and outgoing shipments, and safely prepare items for shipment. Comply with all company safety, quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

1. Follow written and verbal direction to maintain accurate and efficient shipping and receiving schedules, including work standards.

2. Receive and ship out thorough system controlling invoice.

3. Assist with all shipments/documentation for customer shipments. (*ASN)

4. Maintain departmental organization of all finished goods and component FIFO.

5. Pull inventory for use in FIFO orders.

6. Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

7. Ensure conformance with all CTPAT security guidelines.

8. Adhere to machine/equipment preventative maintenance plans

9. Comply with departmental continuous improvement activities, including cost down ideas for better, more affordable freight carriers.

10. Promote and ensure conformance to the companies IATF 16949 procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual).

11. Promote and ensure conformance to the companies ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste).

12. Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment free, working environment. Comply with department 5C activities

13. Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor, associates and suppliers

14. Additional projects assigned by management

Environmental/Working Conditions

1. Essential functions of this job require the associate to regularly: sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, carry and lift

2. PPE as required by company policy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50 - $21.95 per hour
