About the Role
We are looking for highly motivated Materials and Support Equipment Specialist to work on the most exciting engine platforms in the defence sector – the legendary F/A 18 Super Hornet’s F414 engine and F135 engine that powers the most advanced fifth-generation fighter in the world – the F35 Lightning II.
Your duties include:
Maintain Regulatory Compliance across Asset Management, ensuring compliance with all approved procedures and/or instructions.
Management of Support & Test Equipment (S&TE) for the F135 Program with support across other programs as directed, including but not limited to:
Supporting the scheduling of S&TE Planned Maintenance (PM) actions.
Work Order generation, tracking and closure.
Freight coordination to outside vendors.
Location of assets for conduct of PM actions.
Co-ordination of S&TE tooling repairs, including material sourcing and invoicing.
Liaise with TAE and Customer Engineering, in support of tooling repairs.
Develop & maintain asset management policies & procedures through interrogation of customer supplied technical data.
Support the F135 inventory controller as directed to include:
Ensuring material inventory holdings are sufficient to meet production schedule outcomes.
Purchasing of consumables required at short notice to meet production schedule outcomes.
Tracking of inbound deliveries and notification to operations team upon arrival.
Support to the F135 Multi Use Warehouse
Skills and Experiences:
Desirable Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehousing experience.
Asset Management and Maintenance experience.
Strong ERP experience in IFS and SAP.
Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to effectively build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
ISO 55001 Awareness.
IFS Asset Management Experience.
Chain of Responsibility Awareness.
Dangerous Goods Accreditation.
Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Licenses
