Permanent Part Time Position FTE 0.5 (20 hours per week)
North Shore Hospital
We are seeking a warm and friendly Maternity Reception Clerk to support our Maternity Service in Takapuna, North Shore.
If you would like to be part of a team that is committed to delivering the best in whānau centered care and making a difference to our community, then we would like to hear from you.
This role involves shared administration responsibilities, such as:
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
- Ensuring the information on our patient IT systems are accurate and up to date
- On-boarding booking registrations
- Facilitating outpatient clinics
- Managing ordering and stores
If you possess the following range of skills, we look forward to receiving your application:

- Ability to work well in a team
- Strong administration and communication skills
- Eye for detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Flexibility with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Great interpersonal skills with a strong command of the English language
- Previous Reception/Clerical experience in the health industry along with knowledge of hospital information systems (iPMs) will be an advantage
