Maths & Science Olympiad Teacher: Grades 6–7

Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-person Maths and Science Olympiad sessions for Grade 6-7 students.
2. Visit the assigned partner school around 2-4 times per week, depending on the final schedule
3. Conduct approximately 1-hour sessions, typically scheduled between 3:00 PM and 4:15 PM.
4. Teach concepts through problem-solving, reasoning, and discussion rather than rote methods.
5. Help students develop the thinking skills required for Maths and Science Olympiads.
6.Prepare for sessions using the curriculum and resources provided by Quazar.
7. Work with the Quazar team to continuously improve the programme based on how students respond and learn.

Candidates should:

1. Be based in Bengaluru or be able to travel to the assigned school in Bengaluru.

2. Be available in the afternoon, particularly between 3:00 PM and 4:15 PM, around 2–4 days per week.

3. Have strong fundamentals in Maths and Science.

4. Be comfortable teaching Grade 6–7 students.

5. Enjoy solving and explaining non-routine, Olympiad-style problems.

6. Be able to explain difficult ideas simply and communicate confidently in English.

7. Be willing to commit consistently to the programme and students.

Prior Olympiad teaching or competition experience is a plus, but we care just as much about how well you can teach and make students think.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
