We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming shopping environment, assisting customers with their needs, and driving sales through effective upselling techniques. Experience in a retail setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain an organized and clean sales floor, ensuring that products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Engage in upselling techniques to encourage additional purchases while respecting customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating POS systems.
• Basic understanding of retail math concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products to enhance sales performance.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the store's operating hours.
