Maximo Project Manager - Canada
Project Manager to support varied Canada Maximo and Mobile projects. This role will be the primary point of reference and contact for clients and responsible for overall delivery and the first escalation point for any issues. This role is currently predominately remote but must be open to high levels of business travel as required, dependent on client and project needs. United States citizenship is required.
Project Managers without Maximo experience will NOT be considered. Must reside in Canada and travel as needed
Mandatory:
· 5+ years project management experience and a successful record of Maximo related projects
· Direct individual Maximo asset management software experience
· Successful delivery of technology projects across multiple business units in large organizations
· Experience managing functional and technical implementation teams across multiple countries and time zones
· Experience managing contract deliverables & quality enforcement
· Experience with project management skills in the areas of progress tracking, risk reporting, risk management, project issue resolution, time management, & planning
· Experience with Organizational Change Management and integrating EAM technology solutions into a complex enterprise environment
· Excellent communication (written & verbal), negotiating, & diplomacy skills
Tasks of Role:
· Providing oversight and coordination, and creating a collaborative team environment
· Managing the scope and deliverables of the project(s) within the time and budgetary constraints of the established contract
· Managing the proposal timeline and resource plan within each project, and coordinating schedule and workload balancing related to resources across multiple projects
· Ensuring that specific requirements gathered by Business Analysts as part of the project can be executed within the initial contract scope
· Ensuring that quality is built into processes and deliverables
· Initiating change requests and managing them through the change process
· Tracking actual versus forecasted costs on a weekly basis, and completing other project reports as required
· Documenting and escalating any risks to the successful delivery of the project
· Providing support, where required, for Business Development and Marketing activities including LOE’s, customer demonstrations, and other such related efforts.
· Reporting to the VP PMO, including contributing to the definition and implementation of PMO standards and improvements.
Preferred:
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
· Successful record of mobile-related projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
