M&E ENGINEER / DESIGNER

Job Description:

Candidates applying for this position can expect a challenging career ahead. The job scope among others includes:-

• To produce M&E Services design including electrical lighting and lower, HVAC system, Fire Protection system, plumbing and waste, etc
• Preparation of tender documentation, conducting tender interviews and evaluation
• Project management and contracts administration
• Liaise with relevant Authorities and other Consultants on technical requirements and submissions
• Liaise with suppliers and constructors to acquire pertinent information and details.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Preferably with 3 - 5 years in the building construction industry in M&E works.
• Strong understanding in M&E design, engineering practice and local code of practice
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office, CAD software and BIM
• Experience in cost estimation, tender preparation and contract administration.
• Good interpersonal skills, high degree of responsibility, collaborative work style, teamwork, solution-oriented and outcome-driven
• Travelling for overseas projects is expected

• Inexperience candidates can be considered for junior positions
• Suitable experience candidates can be considered for Senior M&E Engineer/M&E Manager positions
