Responsibilities

• Wrap and package meat products according to company standards and food safety regulations.
• Label products accurately with pricing and expiration dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems as needed for customer transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and helping customers with their selections.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the department.

Experience

• Previous experience in a grocery store or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Basic math skills for accurate pricing and cash handling are required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members.
