Role Overview
Kent Stainless is seeking an experienced Mechanical Automotive and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF). The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical products and systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, along with proven experience in welding, assembly, and fitting. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Time-served, industry-recognised MAMF trade qualification or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role or industry
• Proven experience in electrical wiring, panel building, or industrial electrical maintenance
• Good standard of welding experience, including MIG, MAG, and TIG

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read, interpret, and build from technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work overtime or shift work when required
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices
