Job Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical products, machine assemblies, and industrial equipment while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and machine components.
• Create 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD.
• Design systems related to Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Material Handling Equipment, Industrial Automation, and Packaging Machinery.
• Select standard components such as bearings, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and hardware.
• Prepare BOMs, GA drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for component development and manufacturing support.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards such as CE, ISO, and ASME.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve technical and quality-related issues.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Mechanical Design & Product Development
• 3D Modelling and Assembly Design
• Manufacturing Drawings & BOM Preparation
• Material Selection
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 2–7 years in Mechanical Design or Product Development

Work Schedule

• Day Shift
• Work Location: Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune (In-person)
• Travel: Willingness to travel within India and internationally as per project requirements.
