About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design (CAD) & Simulation Trainer with strong expertise in CAD/CAM/CAE tools to train engineering students and professionals at our Head Office in Cochin (Ernakulam). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design, 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation workflows, along with a strong passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training sessions on CAD/CAM/CAE software, including (as applicable):
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Fusion 360, Ansys, NX, Revit, Inventor, etc.
• Teach modules such as:

• 2D Drafting & Detailing
• 3D Modelling & Assemblies
• Surface & Solid Modelling
• GD&T, BOM, and Technical Drawings
• FEA, Motion Simulation & Analysis
• CAM Operations & Tool Path Strategies
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, practice tasks, and project assignments.
• Guide students in real-time projects, portfolio development, and design workflows.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide performance feedback.
• Maintain training quality as per CADCENTER standards and Autodesk ATC guidelines.
• Support academic activities, workshops, seminars, and events such as CADFEST.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software updates, and best practices.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong proficiency in at least 2–3 major mechanical design tools (SolidWorks / CATIA / Creo / NX / Fusion 360 / Inventor / AutoCAD Mechanical).
• Knowledge of CAE tools such as ANSYS / SolidWorks Simulation is an added advantage.
• Excellent understanding of:
• Mechanical design principles
• 3D modelling & assemblies
• Drafting standards
• Simulation workflows
• Manufacturing concepts & CAM
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to teach complex concepts in a simple, structured manner.

Qualification

• B.Tech / BE / in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Certification in CAD/CAE tools is a plus.

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in industry or training.
• Freshers with strong software skills and passion for teaching may also apply.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
