Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance Operations

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for lime calcination equipment
• Maintain critical equipment such as kilns, crushers, conveyors, bucket elevators, blowers, fans, and material handling systems
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and reduced unplanned downtime

Shutdown & Reliability Management

• Plan and execute annual and periodic shutdown maintenance
• Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Drive equipment reliability and life-cycle improvement initiatives

Team & Contractor Management

• Lead and supervise mechanical maintenance teams and contractors
• Allocate manpower and resources for maintenance activities
• Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and work quality

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory requirements
• Promote safe work practices and ensure proper use of PPE
• Maintain maintenance documentation, permits, and audit records

Spare Parts & Cost Control

• Plan critical spares inventory and ensure availability
• Coordinate with procurement for spares, services, and AMC activities
• Monitor maintenance costs and support cost-optimization initiatives

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with production, electrical, and instrumentation teams
• Maintain maintenance MIS, breakdown reports, and KPI dashboards
• Support continuous improvement and plant efficiency initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Diploma with relevant experience may be considered

Experience & Industry Background

5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
Experience in lime calcination, cement, power, minerals, or similar continuous process industries preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of rotary kilns and heavy mechanical equipment
Preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge
Leadership and team coordination skills
Safety-oriented and process-driven approach
Ability to work under pressure in continuous operations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
