Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities, ensure maximum equipment uptime, and lead the mechanical maintenance team in an ERW Tube Mill manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Ensure smooth operation of all plant machinery with minimum downtime.

Manage maintenance of ERW Tube Mill equipment.

Identify opportunities for automation and machine upgrades to improve efficiency.

Monitor maintenance costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Stores departments.

Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Maintain Slitter, Hydraulic Pack, Tube Mill Rolls, ROT (Run-Out Table), COC (Carriage of Cutters), EOT Cranes, Coolant Pumps, and other mechanical equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.

Maintain maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and equipment history.

Required Qualifications

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

8–15 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance.

Experience in ERW Tube Mill or Steel Manufacturing is preferred.

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, EOT cranes, and preventive maintenance systems.

Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
