As a Silicon Security Intern, you will be learning about and contributing toward custom silicon product security design and validation. This opportunity will leverage your technical knowledge of the fundamentals of Computer Engineering to contribute in this newly forming team on cutting edge products. Your responsibility will include:
- Contributing to the development and validation of a Security Controller and the associated Firmware.
- Learning about and implementing content for modeling infrastructure.
- Working at the intersection of hardware and firmware in a pre-silicon environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
- Has not participated in an Intel internship previously through the MECOP program (only applicable to Senior students).
This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of post-degree related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $40,000.00-$108,000.00 (Hourly Role)
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
