Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least (1) year experience directly providing care to individuals in a medical setting, preferably in Pediatrics.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs and medical history accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Administer vaccines, medications, tests and procedures, as directed by healthcare providers.
- Familiar with VFC and FL Shots.
- Vaccines inventory, ( VFC and Private Lots)
- Manage patient flow within the office setting to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with staff and patients.
- Medical supplies inventory .
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or office setting is preferred.
- High School or GTE required.
- Fluent in the English language .
- Certification or Diploma /Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient information.
- CPR Certification by the American Red Cross or Heart Association (preferred).
- Understanding of medical terminology related to various healthcare practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
