Job Overview

Duties

• Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms
• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient setting
• Support physician with procedures such as medication administration, injections, and wound care
• Support ICD coding processes for accurate billing and documentation purposes
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient questions and ensuring comfort during visits

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence
• Ability to perform clinical duties including intake assessments and vital signs collection
• Prior hospital experience or clinic experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
