Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with Weekend Rotation

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a thorough understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by preparing patients.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
• Administer immunizations in compliance with protocols.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Conduct routine tests and screenings, including those related to pediatrics.
• Will also assist with Front Desk activities including check in/check out, running insurance, answering phones, scheduling, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

• No license required
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience or familiarity with pediatrics is preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred but not required
• Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding medication administration protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
