Job description- Medical Assistant for Coastal Podiatry Associates

Job Summary:
A Medical Assistant plays an essential role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring high-quality patient care. Medical Assistants must be personable, willing to learn, dependable, and able to thrive in a team environment. Medical Assistants work in any of our 5 offices throughout the week. (Surfside, Conway, Myrtle Beach -Rourk St., International Dr. and Little River). Reliable transportation is required. All Medical Assistants must be able to travel to any of our five office locations any day of the week.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, a caring and personable demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including standing and walking for the entire shift, performing repetitive motions, bending, and lifting.
• Previous experience in patient care within a medical office setting is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Taking patient medical histories, providing nail care to patients and preparing our Podiatrist for the exam.
• Ensure exam rooms and medical equipment are clean, organized, and ready for patient visits.
• Monitor inventory in each office, identifying and communicating supply needs to ensure all items are adequately stocked.
• Complete routine administrative tasks as assigned to maintain efficient patient flow and organization.
• Conduct x-rays (training will be provided)

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
