Busy Orthopedics practice is looking for a Full Time, Medical Assistant, to provide assistance to our highly skilled team of Clinicians. The Medical Assistant will perform direct and indirect patient care as assigned by our licensed Clinician staff. The position is at our Fairfax/Fair Oaks location.

Some Responsibilities -

• Provide assistance to MD and PA with basic triage, assist in the monitoring of patient reactions to treatment, and communicate adverse reactions immediately to the appropriate person.
• Maintain patient documentation, notes and follow up.
• Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels on a daily basis, inspect, sterilize, and maintain/clean equipment in accordance with clinics standards.
• Participate in any other designated projects or roles as directed by the Clinician staff.

Some Benefits -

Some Medical Assistant Requirements -

• High School or higher level of education
• Be available to work Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM, except for Thursdays which are scheduled 11 AM - 3/4 PM, each week.
• CPR certified
• Have strong written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills.
• 1 - 2 years of Medical Assistant experience is needed, additional training will also be provided.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Must own a vehicle for commuting between clinic locations.
