Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures and excellent patient service skills. The Medical Assistant will work in various settings, including clinics and inpatient facilities, assisting with both administrative and clinical tasks.
Duties
- Provide medical administrative support, including floating between physician clinics.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols.
- Support internal medicine practices by performing routine lab tests and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
- Facilitate patient service by addressing inquiries, providing information about services, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinic to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients, including those requiring medical-surgical interventions.
- Work on administrative tasks, such as document management.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or training in the following areas:
- Internal medicine practices, demonstrating familiarity with common conditions and treatments. Endocrinology experience is a plus.
- Medical administrative support functions, showcasing proficiency in managing patient interactions and documentation.
- Emergency medicine scenarios, highlighting the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.
- Medication administration techniques, ensuring knowledge of proper dosages and protocols for various medications.
- Patient service excellence, emphasizing strong communication skills and empathy towards patients' needs.
- Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
