Podiatry practice in Richmond seeking part time medical assistant. Please see main details below:

• Pay is $20 per hour
• Total of 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday, NO FRIDAYS)
• Hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 AM - 4 PM
• Approximately 36 hours per week total
• Interviews will be held via ZOOM - no in person interviews
• Start date on or around Monday, September 8th
• No additional benefits, no PTO but can request unpaid days off as needed
• Cannot accommodate college or school schedules, hours are set as noted above. Looking for long term hire.

Responsibilities for Medical Assistant

• Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients
• Bring patients to room, assist with removing socks and shoes, and assist with placing these back on at the end of the encounter
• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies

Qualifications for Medical Assistant

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
