Medical Biller
We are seeking a qualified and experienced medical biller to join our team. We are not interested for an outside firm and this position is not remote. Firms & remote applicants will be rejected immediately.

As our medical biller you should have experience with aging, patient statements and insurance appeals. Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of billing software required, along with having strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Collaborate with team and follow billing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Verify patient’s eligibility and prior authorizations; ensuring each patient’s information is accurate
• Review patient accounts, prepare patient statements and establish patient payment arrangements /patient
• collections
• Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies with accuracy
• Familiar with CPT and Diagnosis Codes/ guidelines
• Familiar with insurance guidelines and requirements
• Follow up with insurance companies on denied claims; corrections and rebilling
• Review insurance reimbursements for discrepancies; Payment posting
• Entering claim information on web-portals when applicable
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
