Texas Advanced Imaging Center is currently hiring for an energetic, self motivated Front Desk Receptionist.
- Greeting patients in a pleasant, timely and cooperative manner.
- Answers the telephone, directs calls, takes messages and responds to routine questions.
- Ensures registration forms are filled out completely and are updated, obtains current insurance information from patients, and collect co-payments from patients.
- Check in patients and schedule walk in appointments
- Make new patient packets
- Performs additional related tasks as requested. Patient demographic entry.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possesses effective communication skills including telephone etiquette
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
- Basic understanding of computer systems and computerized scheduling systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be able to work under stress and be emotionally capable of coping with complex and/or changing conditions
- Requires the ability to prioritize, problem solve, make sound decisions, and work as a team
- Bilingual is a MUST **
- Able to commute to other centers (if needed)**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
