We are a busy family medicine clinic located at the corner of St.Laurent and Montreal Road (535 Montreal Road in Ottawa).

The clinic’s operating hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturday morning 9am to noon.

We are looking for a PART time MOA / medical receptionist. FULL time hours might be available during the summer and PART time hours from September onward.

10-15 hours per week.

We are fully computerized and use Telus PS Suite EMR. The candidate must be proficient with using computers.

We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant that is efficient and thorough, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to function in stressful situations. You must be able to multi-task. Must be able to work both independently and with other staff members. You must be courteous and professional with patients and staff.

Duties include but are not limited to :

- triaging patient calls and history taking, must be able to document properly
- the candidate would be taught how to take vitals
- being able to maintain the flow of patients through the clinic (ie answering phones, doing vitals and putting patients in the room)
- being able to schedule patients appropriately

-scanning documents into EMR

Assistante à la réception d'un cabinet médical

Nous sommes une clinique de médecine familiale très occupée située au coin du boulevard St-Laurent et du chemin Montréal (535 chemin Montréal à Ottawa).

Nos heures d’ouverture sont de 8 heure le matin à 20 heure du lundi au jeudi, de 8 heure à 16 heure le vendredi et le samedi matin de 9 heure à midi. Nous sommes à la recherche d’une assistante à la réception de notre cabinet médical à temps partiel.

10-15 heures par semaine.

Les dossiers médicaux sont informatisés avec le programme Telus PS Suite. Il est donc essentiel que le candidat soit à l’aise avec les ordinateurs.

Les tâches principales sont de répondre aux appels téléphoniques et fixer les rendez-vous pour les patients, assurez un bon flot des patients lors de leur rendez-vous à la clinique, prendre les signes vitaux numériser des documents aux dossiers des patients et faire un triage des documents reçus électroniquement,...
