MedCare Clinics is looking for a Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist to provide physician support in a busy Family Practice & Walk-In setting.

*MUST have FLEXIBILITY for ALL Shifts*

*MUST have Medical Office Administration Experience or Education*

Responsibilities and Duties include:

• Scheduling patient appointments
• Answering clinic phone calls (multiple lines)
• Faxing and scanning medical documents through EMR system (Accuro)
• Strep Test, Urinalysis and Pregnancy Tests as per physician’s request
• Assessing newborn babies for biometrics (height, weight, head circumference)
• Keeping track of inventory for medical and laboratory supplies
• Sending outpatient referrals

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program
• Previous experience in a medical office serving multiple physicians
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records System (EMR)
• Phlebotomy, Venipuncture & Injections *(not required but preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Experience:

• Medical Office Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (preferred)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
