Medical Receptionist Job at Medical Clinic in Milton, ON.
Job Description
The Thompson Square Medical Centre in Milton seeks to hire an experienced, friendly Medical Office Receptionist for our Family Practice and Walk-In clinic.
The candidate must possess strong communication, computer, and customer service skills. The candidate should also be organized and responsible.
Duties
- Answer phone calls
- Greet patients appropriately in a friendly manner
- Manage and schedule patient appointments and records
- Appointment reminder calls
- Provide patients with appropriate support and guidance
- Facilitate patient flow through the clinic
- Login to patient data into EMR
- Room patients
- Take vitals
- Prepare rooms for procedures
- Scan, send faxes, filing
- Follow COVID protocols
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Min. 1-3 years prior experience as a healthcare receptionist
- Bilingual (Punjabi/Urdu/Hindi) is a plus
- MUST KNOW ACCURO EMR
Job Types: Part-time.
Pay: $17.00 to 17.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends

- Billing
- Scheduling
- Insurance verification
- Answering phones
