Job Title: Medical Receptionist

Location: Pawleys Island, SC

Island Womens Care is looking for a Part time Medical Receptionist (Tuesday-Thursday) to work in Pawleys Island, SC.

Primary Duties: greet patients; check in patients; verify insurance coverage and explain to patients; input new patient information into EMR; accept, post and process patient payments; answer phone inquiries, schedule patients.

Secondary duties but not limited to: scanning documents into patient charts, filing

Qualifications \ Skills:

At least one year of prior experience working in a medical practice.

Must be a self-starter as well as team player and dependable.

Able to speak/write English clearly and is well understood

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Skills in answering the telephone in a pleasant, helpful manner, using multi-line phone system.

Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.

Demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.

Demonstrate willing to adapt to change.

Be able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible.

Knowledge of HIPAA, COMPLIANCE, OSHA.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
