- Responsible for establishing relationships and enhancing medical scientific communication with key opinion leaders (KOLs), different health care professionals (HCPs) and other external key stakeholders.
- Partner with professional societies and patient advocacy groups to gather the insights defining projects to fulfill patients’ needs.
- Partner in developing and implementing country medical strategy for specific therapeutic areas or products.
- Develop and execute medical affairs plan/activities, which may include medical education, investigator-initiated trials, research grants, medical advisory boards, scientific communication/publications, embrace digital etc.
- Provide medical insights to support the company’s product development, new product launches, marketing strategies, and lifecycle management.
- Propose scientific and medical data to be used for value dossiers preparation.
- Validate the scientific content of promotional materials, develop internal training material.
- Provide medical guidance and input to commercial and other cross functional stakeholders in support of key product maintenance activities and product defense.
- Ensure that all activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards, particularly concerning promotional practices and clinical data dissemination.
- Participate in reviews of promotional materials and other promotional activity as required by and Viatris SOPs and local legislation.
- Medical (MD, M.Sc Pharm or other diploma in biomedical science) degree is required.
- Experience in medical affairs in a pharmaceutical company is preferred and 1 year experience as MSL is advantageous.
- Expertise in medical science and excellent communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, different HCPs and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to discuss medical scientific aspects of product development regulatory issues and business-related issues.
- Ability to review, evaluate, interpret, and present complex data in a convincing manner.
- Medical scientific writing skills and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent is Finnish and English working proficiency is required.
- The role is primarily field-based, requires willingness to travel and work remotely.
- Valid driving license is required, Microsoft proficiency.
