The Position
- The primary role of ILD MSL is to provide scientific information to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to meet their needs in designated therapeutic area and to gather medical insights for developing brand strategies ILD MSL would be a member in Medical Affairs/Medical Department, and work closely with cross-functional brand team
Duties & Responsibilities
- External Expert (EE)s engagement and advocacy building: Scientific exchange and communication with EEs
- Provides and delivers important information to HCPs about the appropriate use of BI products
- Initiate interaction with EE/HCP when Boehringer-Ingelheim needs to gain insight or to gather specific feedback to guide internal decision-making (perception tracking/competitor information)
- Support planning and execution of medical strategies
- Implement medical activities (SEM, advisory board, consultation) and execute advocacy development based on annual plan
- Documenting scientific interactions between Boehringer Ingelheim and HCPs and for sharing relevant information & insight to the brand team
- Support evidence generation plan Internal and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
- Preferred related educational background such as science, biology, pharmacy, medicine, nurse etc.
- Preferred someone with minimum 1-2 years prior MSL experience
- Experience in the respiratory field or product launching experience is preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain scientific relationships with EEs
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Required to maintain highest level of expertise within therapeutic area
