The Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI) is the leading representative body for the Irish restaurant industry, encompassing over 3,000 members including full-service restaurants, cafés, gastropubs, and hotel restaurants. Our mission is to Represent, Assist, and Inform our members to ensure the hospitality sector continues to grow and prosper.
We are looking for a Telesales Executive to join the Restaurants Association of Ireland team for Membership Development.
Reporting to: Membership Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Conduct daily outbound cold calls to prospect and sign up new members (restaurants, gastropubs, and cafés)
- Benefit Advocacy: Effectively communicate the core benefits of RAI membership, including:
- Lobbying Power: Representation to the government on critical issues like VAT rates and labour costs.
- Financial Savings: Access to exclusive discounts on utilities, merchant services, and IMRO licensing.
- Training: Promotion of funded courses via the Restaurant & Hospitality Skillnet.
- Awards: Encouraging participation in the Irish Restaurant Awards.
- Relationship Management: Act as an industry liaison, gathering feedback from business owners to inform the RAI’s national lobbying strategy.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly membership acquisition and retention targets to support the growth of the Association.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of site visits and new sign-ups using the RAI’s CRM system.
Requirements
- Hospitality Insight: Strong knowledge of the Irish hospitality landscape; prior experience in restaurant management or hospitality sales is a distinct advantage.
- Communication: Ability to engage with busy business owners, delivering a persuasive pitch in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated to work independently with a proven track record in inside sales.
- Professionalism: A passionate ambassador for the RAI, reflecting the high standards of the Irish food and tourism industry.
- Attention to detail is a must.

What We Offer
- Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure
- Hybrid working structure
Pay: €28,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in DUBLIN 8, County Dublin
