• Job Description

The position of Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor will provide supervision to Peer Specialist.

Must meet or posses the criteria below to be considered:

Master's Degree

Bachelor’s degree AND two years of mental health direct care experience , which may include experience in peer support services

Associate’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education or a related field from a program that is accredited by an agency recognized by the USDOE or the CHEA, or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university approved by the USDOE; with three years of mental health direct service experience and have completed the CPS supervisory training approved by the Department within six months of hire

A high school diploma or GED AND four years of mental health direct care experience , which may include experience in peer support services

Dates and description of mental health direct care experience must be clearly documented on resume

Must be dependable, a team player, possess organization skills, be a self-starter, creative, empathic, have a valid PA Driver’s License, reliable transportation, pre-employment clearances and must travel as essential job function requires.

Hourly wages are as follows:

$25.50 an hour for Master’s Degree must be submitted at interview

$20.50 an hour for Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma.
