Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive MEP Design Manager / Lead to oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary MEP projects. The candidate will lead a team of engineers and BIM professionals, manage client interactions, coordinate with architects, structural consultants, project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, and ensure high-quality project delivery within timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Design Management

* Lead the design and development of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and Sustainable Design systems.
* Review and approve design calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings.
* Ensure compliance with applicable local and international codes, standards, and client requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and BIM teams.

Project Leadership

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept design through IFC and construction support stages.
* Prepare project execution plans, schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning.
* Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
* Conduct regular design review meetings and coordinate project activities across disciplines.

Client & Stakeholder Management

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on technical and project-related matters.
* Lead meetings with clients, architects, PMC teams, contractors, and authorities.
* Present design concepts, technical solutions, and value engineering proposals.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and industry partners.

Coordination & BIM Management

* Lead interdisciplinary coordination among MEP, architectural, structural, and specialist consultants.
* Drive BIM-based coordination processes and clash resolution.
* Review and monitor BIM deliverables, coordination models, and project standards.
* Ensure adherence to project BIM Execution Plans and quality standards.

Quality & Technical Excellence

* Establish and maintain design quality procedures and best practices.
* Conduct design audits and quality reviews before submission.
* Promote innovation, digital engineering, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Business Development Support

* Support proposal preparation, technical presentations, and fee estimation.
* Participate in client pitches and business development discussions.
* Identify opportunities for additional consultancy services and project growth.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Master’s Degree is preferred.
* Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, CEM, CMVP, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Experience

* 10–15+ years of experience in MEP consultancy and design engineering.
* Minimum 5 years in a leadership or project management role.
* Experience handling commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
* GCC/Middle East project experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

* Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM workflows.
* Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, SMACNA, BS, IEC, and local authority requirements.
* Strong understanding of LOD 300–500 BIM deliverables and project coordination processes.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
