Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a Merchandise Coordinator to join our Planning team. This role is primarily responsible for managing stock levels, sales performance, and inventory turnover by location to ensure optimal inventory levels across the business are maintained. This role is based 5 days per week in our Hawthorn East head office.

Reporting to the Merchandise Planner, your responsibilities will include:

Inventory Management: Action weekly replenishment and allocate seasonal stock to stores and online based on grading and performance.
Analysis & Optimisation: Conduct sales and stock analysis to inform consolidations and rebalance stock across the network to maximise sell-through.
Product Support: Provide size ratios for seasonal products and collaborate with the Buyer on order recommendations for core stock.
Wholesale Coordination: Build effective relationships with wholesale clients and arrange the dispatch of wholesale orders in accordance with specified delivery windows.
System Accuracy: Load markdowns and promotions into AP21 and the David Jones Portal accurately and in line with launch dates.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build effective relationships with retail stores and warehouse teams to ensure alignment and understanding.

Skills and Experiences:
YOU WILL BRING:
3+ years' experience in a similar merchandise role, preferably within the fashion industry.
Strong analytical and financial skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Prior experience using AP21 is highly desirable.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Fashion Merchandising is desirable but not essential.
