Position : Merchandiser
Location: Gurugram
Exp Level: 3+ Years
Salary : 10 LPA
Industry – Jewellery
Key Responsibilities :-
Vendor Management & Negotiation
- Identify, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and payment terms
- Ensure vendor compliance with quality, timelines, and specifications
Product Development & Sampling
- Work closely with design and production teams for sampling & prototyping
- Track sample development and communicate feedback for revisions
- Maintain accurate sample records and approvals
Production Follow-ups
- Oversee production timelines and ensure timely deliveries
- Coordinate with vendors for order execution, quality checks, and dispatches
- Troubleshoot delays or issues proactively
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain detailed trackers in Excel/Google Sheets (including advanced formulas)
- Generate reports on vendor performance, costing, order status, etc.
- Analyze data for cost savings and process improvements
Communication & Coordination
- Act as the point of contact between internal teams (design, QC, logistics) and vendors
- Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats
- Schedule and document meetings, calls, and follow-ups effectively
Travel & Market Research
- Willingness to travel for vendor visits, production checks, trade shows, etc.
- Stay updated with industry trends and materials.
