Description:
About the Role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our team and work in Pukekohe Region. You will work hands on with customer contact and maintain business critical relationships.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure Hutchinsons products are filled and rotated to the highest standard and advise your manager of any out stocks, facing changes etc.
- Look for growth opportunities within the Pack N Save as appropriate to your region and advise these to your Territory Manager
- Build business relationships with key customer contacts in all channels including Service Deli, Dairy Deli and Grocery as required
- Adhere to a regular call cycle
- Complete a weekly call report in a timely manner
- Use time management skills to stay within budgeted hours
- Ensure ongoing focus on Core Range products within your area
- Check in store basics including specials tickets, stock weight, stock rotation, range check and shelf position, advise appropriate managers of any issues.
- Good knowledge of the FMCG industry
- Proven experience in a merchandising role, ideally in independents
- Strong presentation and influencing skills.
- Exceptional time management skills with a drive to succeed
- Able to understand best customer management and field sales disciplines.
- Resilient, persistent and self-motivated
- High levels of energy, hands on with a can-do attitude.
