We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in the garment manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with buyers and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of orders from development to final delivery. You should have a strong understanding of garment production processes, fabrics, trims, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Handling: Manage customer orders from product development to shipment.
• Buyer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for international and domestic buyers.
• Sampling: Coordinate with design and production teams to develop and dispatch samples as per buyer requirements.
• Production Follow-up: Monitor the entire production process to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for fabric, trims, and accessories procurement.
• Costing & Pricing: Assist in product costing, negotiate prices with vendors, and ensure profitability.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain all relevant documentation including T&A plans, tech packs, and shipping documents.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the QA team to address buyer comments, fit issues, and ensure compliance with quality parameters.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with the logistics team for timely dispatch and delivery of goods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in garment manufacturing (knit/woven/outerwear, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with international compliance standards (e.g., ISO, WRAP, SEDEX).
• Knowledge of CAD software or design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
• Experience dealing with overseas clients (US/EU/UK retailers and brands).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
