About The Position

Position Location: Port Pirie

Position Status: Part Time FTE 0.6

The Microfinance Program aims to deliver a quality service that enables people on low income to access no interest loans.

As the Microfinance Officer you will perform a broad range of administrative tasks to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to loan applicants, suppliers and stakeholders. You will ensure all quality assurance and compliance measures are met as required by Uniting Country SA.

Skills and Experiences:
You will:
  • Provide regular No Interest Loans appointments for applicants.
  • Manager key administrative tasks that support high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure all quality assurance and compliance requirements are met in line with Uniting Country SA standards.
  • Promote UCSA's Microfinance products.
  • Have a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
It is essential for you to have:
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Relevant experience in a paid or voluntary capacity.
It is desirable for you to have:
  • A Certificate IV or above in a Human Services related discipline (not essential).
You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
