Shelby Middle School Interventionist Instructional Assistant

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Passed the paraprofessional assessment or have 60 college credits
• Valid Language Arts and/or Mathematics certification preferred
• Knowledge of math and reading strategies to be used with identified students. Requires the ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other interventionists to support the educational process of students
• Ability to work on a team of educational providers to implement individual education plans
• Possess patience, dedication, and can work well with middle school students.
• Good communication, people, and teamwork skills
