Mill Operator - Rolleston Supply Chain
Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
Reporting to Site Manager, your key focus will be undertaking the efficient daily mill operations including mixing of raw materials, bagging of materials, minor machinery maintenance and ensure consistent quality management. Working Monday to Friday. There are two shifts (6.00am-3.30pm and 2.30pm-12am).
We also have a casual on call position available for an experienced operator
    Contributing to manufacturing and process improvements
    Ensuring productivity targets are met
    Helping to maintain an excellent standard of workplace health and safety
    90 hours per fortnight on a rostered basis
    During our busy season August to November there is the opportunity to pick up extra shifts
    Loading and unloading trucks so forklift experience is a must
Mōhou ake | About you
    To excel in this role, you will have previous experience working with rural supplies.
    You will have basic machine operating skills and in particular working with SCADA.
    You will be reliable and have a consistent work ethic
    You will be an effective communicator (able to relate well to others)
    You will be able to work autonomously but equally in teams
    You will have an ability to build effective working relationships across the organisation
    Full Class 1
    Forklift with OSH (preferred)
    Wheels Endorsement (preferred)
