General Hardwood Company has been at its current Detroit location since 1932. We are a family owned and operated business currently on its third generation of ownership. General Hardwood Company is the largest hardwood moulding manufacturer and hardwood distribution yard in southeastern Michigan.
We are looking to hire in a mill helper who will assist our saw operators in processing custom millwork orders. Responsibilities include stacking lumber, tailing various woodworking equipment, shop clean up, and defecting lumber.
We are searching for reliable individual's interested in finding a long term career. We emphasize, consistency, respect, and accountability. We value a family like atmosphere and steady work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
