Duties

• Operate milling machines and other heavy equipment to remove old pavement or surface layers efficiently and accurately
• Support paving operations by aiding loaders, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles on-site
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery such as excavators, loaders, and concrete pumps to maintain optimal performance
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and site safety procedures

Skills

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and milling machines
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting milling equipment issues quickly and effectively
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification preferred but not required

Pay: $25.41 - $30.61 per hour
