Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This position involves various tasks in a manufacturing environment, including assembly, finishing, and materials handling. The Laborer will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Assist cabinetmakers and machine operators with day-to-day tasks.

- Perform general shop duties including sanding, gluing, clamping, and basic assembly of millwork components.

- Load and unload materials, organize supplies, and maintain an orderly work environment.

- Operate basic hand and power tools safely (training provided as needed).

- Assist with packaging, wrapping, and preparing finished products for delivery or installation.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team goals.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in millwork, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing is an asset but not required.

- Physically fit; able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
