About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Ministry Assistant. This is a Full time, max term position unit 14 January 2026.
You will successfully
  • Work with the Corps Officers to establish, develop and co-ordinate Corps programs in Port Augusta and Whyalla.
  • Work with the Corps Officers to identify, recruit, resource, give oversight, lead and develop volunteers and leaders for mission and deliver the relevant programs and services.
  • Working alongside the Corps Officers to provide pastoral care and support to the wider Corps, mission volunteers, workers, leaders and community members.
  • Work collaboratively with local community groups, TSA mission expressions, site users and other relevant stakeholders.
You will have
  • Possess a sound, mature Christian experience, including the ability to disciple an individual on the path with and to Jesus.
  • Proven leadership (spiritual and/or organisational) and pastoral capabilities and a strong faith demonstrating Christ-like behaviour.
  • Diploma of Ministry/Theology or equivalent work experience or other formal training or undertaking appropriate study is preferred.
  • A current South Australian Drivers Licence (if required)
  • Valid South Australian Employee Working with Children Check
