We are looking for a fantastic MIT to join our friendly team to work in Wellington region. A new grad can definitely be considered.

Five weeks annual leave + five days domestic leave

A really exciting opportunity to work across the Wakefield branch and After Hours Medical Centre in a MIT role where you can showcase your skills. This could be an opportunity for someone with one to two years’ experience but also a new graduate.

As an MIT, you will perform general x-ray, theatre, and mobile imaging providing a welcoming, accurate and responsive imaging service to Pacific Radiology’s patients and referrers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Diagnostic imaging of a good quality and in line with published imaging protocols
Recording information in the relevant Radiology Information System
Consistently acting with consideration and compassion to all patients

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

Experience as a MIT and a sound knowledge of techniques and practices
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Continuous improvement focus and collaborative mind set to deliver better outcomes
If you have training in CT this is advantageous but not required
