Job Summary
We are seeking a Mixer Operator for a Food Manufacturing facility located in Vaughan, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Getting all batch sheets
- Recording all lot # on batch sheets
- Checking scales, utensils, fryer or oven
- Mixing dry ingredients
- Coordinating with operator & mixer
- Checking mixing bowl, bottom wheels and hoist
- Keeping work-station clean
- Putting mixing bowls in wash area at the end of shift
- Wiping down exterior of all ingredient bins
- Putting all ingredients scaling bins in wash area.
- Cleaning all scales and put away
- Ensuring all ingredients are returned to warehouse area.
- Cleaning all tools and out in storage area
- Scraping all dough buildup on outside of mixers
- Performing other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to stand in the production are and at the line for the duration of the shift
- Adhere to proper GMP and safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensure our high-quality standards are being met with every batch we produce by checking each batch for quality and accuracy - delivering a world-class finish product each time.
- Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean and sanitary throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds when needed
- Must have and maintain a strong attendance record
- Ability to communicate, speak, write and read in English.
- Ability to handle moderate-to-high stress due to the pressure of production deadlines. Must be able to handle high mental effort.
Ability to work overtime and flexible with shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
