Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection in various settings, ensuring patient comfort and safety. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will travel to different locations to provide high-quality patient care and support clinical laboratory operations.

Duties

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws with precision and care.
• Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized mobile work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control practices.
• Document patient interactions, procedures performed, and any relevant observations accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
• Monitor vital signs as necessary during the specimen collection process.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens.
• Stay updated on best practices in phlebotomy and laboratory techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience in clinical laboratory settings or patient care roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to phlebotomy procedures.
• Proficiency in various laboratory techniques and specimen collection processing methods.
• Ability to perform venipuncture competently while ensuring patient comfort.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and standards for specimen handling is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for mobile duties.

Pay: $19.36 - $20.71 per hour
