Due to significant expansion we are now recruiting for the position of Mobile Truck Tyre Technician for our Cork City & County team.

Please note that currently, we are only interested in hearing from candidates that meet the following criteria:

• Proficiency in english language (written and spoken).
• Significant experience and competency in working with truck tyres (Working with car tyres will not suffice).
• Be able to demonstrate basic tyre and wheel rim husbandry, wear and damage, tyre & rim suitability.
• Have experience with working in dynamic locations including customer sites, live carriageways and other locations.
• Ability to work independently as part of a remote team.
• Ability to take instruction and direction from Cork regional manager.
• Abide by organisational health and safety protocols and processes (customer & employer).
• Fully utilise all digital administrative tools (we are a fully digital organisation - all job cards are processed by the technician on one of our tablets).
• Embody the company's 'customer first' philosophy during all customer and third party interactions.
• You must live within a commutable distance of Cork city

What you'll do: Operating from one of our modern, fully equipped and resourced mobile service vans, you will work as part of our Cork team in a rotating shift structure - Typically you will work Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm or 8am to 6pm but this can change as business needs change.

You will carry out wheel and tyre replacements, fitments and repairs at customer's sites as well as on roadside from time to time. Its important to note that this is not just a 'breakdown' only role - We also manage and service sizeable fleets on a regular basis.

We are a busy front line organisation and it it is not unusual for our technicians to fit 20 new truck tyres per day as a result.

We have regular opportunities for overtime for additional income if required.

Pay: €28,300.00-€52,719.86 per year
